Entry - 95 "Spiritual Pilgrim"

This is my first time to take my spiritual pilgrim to Church of Good Health Shrine of Vailankanni. I have known this place many years back but never think of to visit the place. I only heard about it miraculous happening which has been taking place since many years ago. Till today there are thousands of pilgrims from all over the world expecting to receive physical and spiritual healing, divine grace and blessings from this place. Though this place is maintained and taken care by the Catholic Church, it does not mean that it is only for the Christians believer. All people from all community and denomination come here and receive blessings as well as physical and spiritual healing. I have seen and heard that many people receive miracle physical healing from different kind of illness, which is impossible to cure by Medical Doctor. Not only physical healing but abundant blessings and favors have been received by many people from this place in their own needs.

We arrived early in the morning the next day from Chennai. There are also thousands of pilgrims from all parts of the world. The Cathedral is huge and beautiful. The prayer service and Holy Mass is conducted around the clock in three languages. i.e English, Tamil and Hindi. All facilities are provided in the campus itself for pilgrims who visited this Holy place.

The history of this Holy shrine has amazing story. The Holy Water and Holy Oil has deep impact in this Holy place. Everyone who visited this place wants to take home this holy water and holy oil for their loved ones who cannot visit this place physically. This is memorable journey in my spiritual life.

I would like to mention about the Shrine information and Library centre. Here there are thousands and thousands of letters and gifts displayed. People who received blessings and miracle healing send back their feedback from different parts of the world. I am impressed to see and come to know that people really received many blessings from this Holy Shrine. All the letters and gifts are displayed in beautiful show case box. But photography is strictly prohibited. It’s really amazing and wonderful!

Entry - 93 "Weekend Activities"

Kar tluanin Pathian venna leh kaih hruaina dawngin ka hna te tluang takin ka thawk thina, kar tawp chawl (weekend) hi ka nghak hlel hle thin ani. Entry - 92 "Blessed Easter 2010"

Its Blessed Easter as my Mom and Bro spare their precious time for me. They travel from thousand miles to share together the great joy of risen christ! I am deeply happy that they have time to be with me this time around despite of their busy schedule.

On the day of Good Friday we participate in Way of the Cross and Holy Mass at Saint Thomas Mount. The crowed were huge, people from all walks of life come together to mourn for Jesus who died on the cross for our salvation. We return home at 9 p.m on that night. It really satisfying me of my spiritual well being. I have met some of my colleagues also on this blessed occasion.

On Easter Sunday we attend Holy Mass at San Thome Basilica. The Eucharistic mass was very lively. My Mom is happy though she could not follow english language as the Holy Mass was offer in English. But than i translate for her homily and all the prayers which was said during the Holy hour.

After sharing eucharistic sacrament we proceed to see the Tomb of St.Thomas. We had a prayer and meditation in the Tomb chapel. It is beautiful and well maintained. Many visitors from different countries also come to visit on that Easter Day.

Entry - 90 " Holiday in Mizoram "

Arrived at Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at Kolkata, after taken boarding pass waiting to board the flight. But flight was uncertain due to bad weather condition of Lengpui Airport, so the flight get delayed for 2 hours. I was tense as i got limited holidays. Finally security check in! one step ahead...and boarded the flight. Huhh...announcement by cabin crew...pissed off...the flight will proceed first to Imphal,  since Lengpui Airport is not clear for landing. We waited in Imphal for another 1 hour, than proceed to Lengpui Airport...at last landed!! My family are still there waiting for me...so sad waiting for me such a long hours....

My Holiday is special, as all my immediate family members are present. My Bro and Sis who are away from home also manage to get holiday from their work. So we have lots of fun around. My Mom is the most happiest person as she can meet all her children together after many years. We take family trip to Kolasib to visit our relatives and friends.We have lots of fun all the way......My sincere Thanks to my two brothers Denzil & David for driving safely throughout the trip and make the trip memorable one...

Finally reach destination... I am extremely happy...wow...
